Tobias the palm no longer freezes the system, but I don't know which port the serial is listed as under deb ppc on the pb1400 ttys0-3? /dev/pilot? At any rate non of them work. I am wondering if Deb Gnome Pilot Utility is looking for a USB device instead of my serial?
