yeah, I think the Dropbox is sort of my speed at the moment. I'm giving it a 
shot. Really appreciate all the answers though. 

But just to clarify, this doesn't affect plug-ins, right? Those will still need 
to be installed locally? It seems like, at least on the mac, there isn't really 
a consistent spot where these get installed
