Generally you just set it to some LOCAL temp cache directory on a fast local
disk. It is only a cache so should be treated as such.

Subject: [Nuke-users] Re: DiskCache node

i have to set this value on our server?
question:

we got 3 servers running with a structure kinda like:

/server1/jobs/projectname/shots/
/server2/jobs/projectname/shots/
/server3/jobs/projectname/shots/

with about 10 jobs per server and about 800-1500 shots per project ...
so how should i set this value in the preferences?
the path to the shot?
or e.g. to /server1/jobs/
?
but i could not do this for all 3 servers, or?

maybe i missunderstood this feature a little bit ...
wherefore is this path?
i thought it just takes the readnode and caches it into the autopath?

Thank you very much for your help.
