I've created a "flicker" on my particles using a Particle Curve which turns off and on in the 'alpha curve'. This works until I plugin an image into the 'particle input', at this point the Particle Curve has no effect. In addition the particles re-distribute so its a completely different configuration.
How do I "flicker" particles with an image input ? As a work around I wanted to simply use a version of the default 'camera facing polys' and multiply them against a version with the image input. But since they re-distribute their locations are completely off. and for the record, the user guide single mention of this bug, or lack of functionality... could be better conveyed then current : Note: If youre using an image or a 3D object as your ParticleEmitters particle input, the ParticleCurve might not alter the colors of the particles as expected. thx, Ari Blue Sky _______________________________________________ Nuke-users mailing list [email protected], http://forums.thefoundry.co.uk/ http://support.thefoundry.co.uk/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/nuke-users
