Yeah, I think expression linking could help me out. Ok, so lets say I have 30 options for say the colour of something, I am creating the colours and using a switch node to pick between the different colours.
Now lets say i need to use these colours on multiple parts of my script, what's a good way to firstly, organise them? To start with I was thinking groups but it makes it difficult to let my scripts access the switch nodes when they are within a group. Also I'm not completely sold on groups really, i don't like opening in a new window and you cant easily drag things in and out. So then I thought have the colours in their own section of the comp and pile the 30 colours on top of each other within the comp, as they will be clones or have expressions to make them act like clones? I'm new to nuke and only person in office with experience so not really sure what the "done" thing is?
