The above 2 replies are great ideas, I'm thinking I could group all my colours
and the group have access to each nob where I set the colour and also to the
switch and then link these with expressions.

The only issue I am thinking is to be able to control the switch nodes within
the group I will have to rewrite my code quite a lot, very annoying!

I only really want groups so the comp looks neater, is it bad practice to
just put all the nodes on top of each other? they'll be essentially clones
and accessed from elsewhere in the script anyway.
