Thanks Deke.
I had this...
set cut_paste_input [stack 0]
version 10.0 v3
push $cut_paste_input
ModifyMetaData {
metadata {
{set "nuke/script name" "\[basename \[value root.name]]"}
}
name ModifyMetaData1
selected true
xpos 7568
ypos 66833
}
but it didn't seem to render out with the exr when metadata was set to "all
metadata"

Just make a ModifyMetadata node and add [knob root.name] as the value for
whatever key name you would like to use.

Is there a way to write metadata containing the nuke script that wrote a file
in nuke?
For instance, in After Effects, when you render a quicktime movie, it embeds
the project path and name in the file, and you can then import a rendered movie
as project and it relinks to original project.
Would be helpful when trying to figure out what nuke script was used for a
render when so many versions etc.
Thanks.
Darren.
