I feel .H() now would get in the way of a .H attribute later, which some have indicated could be added as an iterative view in a future numpy. I'd rather wait for that. My assessment of the conversation so far: there is not adequate support for a .H attribute until it can be an iterative view. I believe that almost everyone (possibly not Josef) would accept or want a .H attribute if it could provide an iterative view. (Is that correct?) So I'll drop out of the conversation, but I hope the user interest that has been displayed stimulates interest in that feature request. Thanks to everyone who shared their perspective on this issue.
