I personally think, Numenta people are all open-minded and brilliant to
understand
the suggestions for improvement.
Since this is an open source project, I'm afraid that it would help much if
you can
provide a working code to compare two algorithms (the current one and the
new one).
Even more convincing, if you can start with the current code base in your
forked repository
and show how your proposed enhancement works better with various data sets.
I haven't proposed anything yet, but I hope I can contribute something
in the near future in such a way. :)
