Thanks to Matt and all the staff that helped to make the Hackathon a success. I think we had a nice mix of people at the event, e.g. from those focused on neuroscience biological aspects, to those just getting their feet wet, a few hackers applying NuPIC to some applications, and the great staff. Great new introductions, good conversations and informational sessions. Definitely an event worth attending!
Here are a few high level random thoughts for the next Hackathon, besides the ones Matt mentioned: * Event venue resources and environment - items hackers could take advantage of in the environment (e.g. appliances, resource monitoring, etc..) * Connecting people for Hack Projects and Areas, perhaps even before the event * More focus on applying NuPIC in regards to the code base (tweaks, snippets, internals) * Live communication capture collection of new ideas, usages, snippets, and suggestions/modifications during the event (brainstorm board) Looking forward to the next Hackathon event, as well as any other future events involving NuPIC and Grok, and the growth of the community!
