Hi there, Open / Free software doesn't have timelines, it organically grows, one problem is solved after another. Where interest lies the community expands on it. Sometimes a project is before its time and nothing happens, other times the project is mature and completed. Nupic is neither and is quite literally a hotbed of innovation and ideas. Now is the time to take part in an exciting endeavour - so your c++ experience would find a welcome home here.
Right now we should start courting language binding folks. This polyglot group of people at language intersections should be assisted in creating language bindings. This is key to having a reversed engineered neocortex at your command line finger tips. Pick a language, any language then make a binding for it!
