Thanks Matt, it was indeed that my export NUPIC was set to the wrong
folder....
Now I got this error though:

platform darwin -- Python 2.7.9 -- pytest-2.4.2 --
/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.7/Resources/Python.app/Contents/MacOS/Python

plugins: xdist, cov

And Python quit unexpectedly.....

any idea?
