I think your clang error is because of the `MACOSX_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET` environment variable. What version of OS X are you running? What is the value of "echo $MACOSX_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET" in your shell?
It needs to be 10.7 or higher. --------- Matt Taylor OS Community Flag-Bearer Numenta On Sun, Mar 29, 2015 at 2:50 PM, Giuseppe Torre <[email protected]> wrote: > Yes Env done and echo $NUPIC provides /Users/giuseppe/nupic indeed. > > I tried the following: > > ARCHFLAGS="-arch x86_64";python setup.py install --user > > gives this: > File "setup.py", line 635, in <module> > raise Exception("To build NuPIC in OS X, you must " > Exception: To build NuPIC in OS X, you must `export ARCHFLAGS="-arch > x86_64"`. > > > ARCHFLAGS="-arch x86_64" python setup.py install --user (...no semicolon) > > gives CLANG error... > > /G > > > > > On Sun, Mar 29, 2015 at 11:39 PM, cogmission (David Ray) > <[email protected]> wrote: >> >> I think he did that?
