I just started shopping for my replacements:
I like batteries from RaionGroup.com or batterywholesale.com.
Here is some free coincidental trivia.
I was a sysadmin for the server behind batterywholesale.com for about
10 years. It was part time work. The couple behind the company have
since sold the business and retired. I'm still in touch with them from
time to time.
Neat!
Ed has told me he appreciates the work I'm doing on NTP, and has been
very helpful with my questions.
I've written up a little bit about selecting the batteries for my Eaton
5PX2200RT (ups) and 5PXEBM48RT (external battery pack).

Good writeup. As far as the batteries being heavier from Raion Group,
that probably means more lead. The spec sheets should have enough info
to tell.
I have also noticed the batteries from the Rain Group are also a bit
less expensive than from other places. They've gotten the majority of
my business lately.
There was some doubt about F2 vs F1 connectors - I've contacted the supplier to
clarify, but I think they're all F2 connectors that I want.
That's been my experience too, but I'm not sure how much that counts
for. As I recall, the F2 connector is a bit wider than the F1, and that
would make sense for higher-current batteries.
I'll place an order Tuesday, hoping they arrive before the USA Thanksgiving
period.
Thanks.
