Well, you define an ACL for 'snark', but never do something with it. Also, there is an ACCEPT for 'mybox', which has no ACL. That doesn't fly, so what you're seeing is that ACCESS for the 'snark' system will be denied. See the example for upsd.conf that is provided after installing NUT.
