As Charles has already explained, there are not very much mainboards to
let external hardware access there I²C/SMBus...
The only possibility I have seen, is to build a very small PCI-Card with
a I²C-Master or if the existing I²C bus is availlable, using a I²C Switch
or Multiplexer... But I do not realy like this idea even if I have build
a working I²C PCI card with a 8 channel switch using Philips/NXP chips.
Note: I need it for some experiments and development...
