I'm sure in case you attack the open source community, you will get less help next time.
I'm following this discussion very closely, and IMHO Byron _never_ attacked the community in any way, quite the contrary.
You couldn't,
1.) you would know that the hole discussion is about the identity and look and feel.

think about adopting it.

From my point of view this is a attack against the open source movement and people that invest a lot of time to code for open source projects.
3.) in case someone just do a fork of a existing project and give it a new name then its time for a flame. This is the kind of democracy open source community uses.
At least i would find it good if people would write as much code as emails (me included).
