This is the kind of info I want to see. My wireless LAN isn't going
anywhere. Right now I have a shitty 900mhz phone so they won't collide.
I'd like to buy a decent range 2.4ghz phone but I don't want to get it home
and find out that I get interference from the LAN or vice versa.

Like many of you, I live in Manhattan in a high density area. I'd like a
phone that also gets good range. I've been thinking about getting a cheap
omni 2.4ghz antenna and mounting it to the phone base station so I can sit
on my stoop 5 floors down and talk on the phone. Probably not exactly
legal, but it's what I want.
