Since others might have this issue, i'll expand on the Siemens 2420,
which is no longer sold...but there other Siemens Gigasets...

Its a great system for reception. I live on Canal street, so it doesn't
get more high density than that. I can walk down four floors to the street
and still get signal.

It does not appear to interfere with 802.11b at all. I'm using mostly
Orinoco, but have a couple of weaker prism based cards. Even my zaurus
get's perfect reception all around my apartment.

However: i've had this (fairly expensive) system less than three years,
and the LCD failed. And I know that it failed for a lots of folks. Of
course, Siemens refuses to do anything about it :(

So, I'd cautiously recommend it. Its one of those Great Product/Crap
Company deals. Make sure that you're OK with potentially having to chuck
the system once the warranty is up - Siemens is not really interested in
customer satisfaction beyond that.
