redhat hell i think ... i have no idea but my /initrd folder suddenly disappeared and apparently this is taboo on RH9 ... it causes a kernel panic and i could not boot, so i went over to XP and used LTOOLS to simply create this empty directory and now ... all i have left is
/proc /dev /tmp
am i screwed? (considering my cd-rom cant seem to work), do i have any alternatives? i knew sticking with redhat was bad news ... any advise *extremely* appreciated.
