Thursday evening at 7:30 PM my daughter excitedly called me into our yard to witness 6 Turkey Vultures soaring very low (just above the trees) over our property. They continued circling for several minutes and then set down in the trees along our driveway, apparently to roost. At 8 PM they were still present. I check at 6AM this morning and they had already departed. It was a truly impressive sight.
