I traveled to Jamaica Bay today to try for the Black-bellied Whistling Duck. I spent the morning searching for it to no avail. To my knowledge, the bird was never relocated. The only bird of note I had today was a Wilson's Phalarope on the north end of the east pond. I did not see the American White Pelican nor the Hudsonian Godwit. Perhaps others had better luck.
