Fall birding at NYBG was spectacular today. Highlights include: 2 Eastern Bluebirds, Least Flycatcher, Eastern Phoebe, 2 Winter Wrens, Brown Creeper, many Hermit Thrush, Wood Thrush, Kinglets, and 2 mature yellow bellied sapsuckers. At Twin Lakes in NYBG; American Coot, Great Blue Heron and Green-winged Teals. There were also many American Robins + many White throated Sparrows, a large flock of Grackles, Peregrine Falcon, and 2 Red tailed hawks.
