On 23rd Street and the FDR -in the cove-there were 6 Red-breasted Mergansers, 1 
Bufflehead, 3 Cormorants, 2 Black Ducks, 4 Mallards and 6 Ruddy Ducks (2 in 
breeding blue). 

Two Peregrine falcons were performing aerial displays on 34th and Second Ave by 
the Midtown Tunnel.  

Stuyvesant Square (16th & 2nd) and Stuyvesant Village; Downy Woodpecker, 
Cardinals, White throated sparrows, Red-tailed hawks, Chickadees, Tufted 
Titmouse, American Crow, American Robin, Mockingbird, Mourning Doves and Blue 
Jay. 

The usual suspects at Union Square Park (14th St.) in addition; American 
Kestrel and Yellow Bellied Sapsucker.
