This (Friday) afternoon, an adult Red-headed Woodpecker was observed
flying at Chestnut Ridge Hawkwatch, Bedford Corners NY (just outside the
city/township limits of Mount Kisco--Region 9). The bird crossed in
front of our east view just below eye level approximately 15 meters from
the watch platform, where the diagnostic head and bold wing pattern
could be seen with ease. RWHO seems to be an occasional visitor to our
hawkwatch in fall (typically September).

With Kind Regards,
\\ Arthur
