There was a decent morning flight along the barrier beach today.  I was only able to observe about an hour and a half of the flight (from 6:45 to 8:15) and there was still a fairly good number of birds passing through when I left.

The flight was highlighted by a Western Kingbird that flew by Field 2 around 8:10.  It seemed to have landed in the shrubs near the entrance but a subsequent search failed to relocate it.

Other interesting birds included an American Pipit, a duo of Dickcissels, and at least 10 species of warbler including 2 Cape Mays.
