Hi Everyone,

I drove out east today - on the west end of Shinnecock Inlet saw all 3
Scoters, Common Eiders, and a Glacous Gull a few feet away from me- I could
not find the King Eider's but I believe it's because of my inexperience
(never saw one yet) and/ or bad weather conditions. On the east end of the
inlet, there were a lot of the 3 common gulls on the jetty and saw a Snowy
Owl - as a sidenote, I got an eery feeling that I was being watched by
something - I looked into the inlet and four seals were looking at me - I
guess I've been rarely seen in the Hamptons lately : )

I looked for the Tundra Swans -found the 2 on the east side of Hook Pond -
also a Common Merganser.

I won't mention the driving experience back home.

Good birding,
Rob in Massapequa
