The pond on Cold Spring Road between Middle and Quarry Rds in the Town of Caledonia is roosting hundreds of ducks and geese, mostly mallards and Canadas, but also included at least 3 Greater White-fronted Geese and a few black ducks and my first Gadwall of the season. The geese were flying out to feed in the surrounding fields. Michael R.
