A brief stop at Point Lookout this morning yielded 2 Harlequin Ducks inside the inlet as well as 28 Common Eider off the main parking lot. Horned Grebes are certainly in.
At Jones Beach the Marbled Godwit continues with many oystercatchers, Dunlin and Black-bellied Plover at the Coast Guard Station. A 15 minute check of the ground Dove location proved fruitless, but the search was not thorough.
