The North Shore Audubon Society will hold its monthly program on Tuesday,
October 27, 2015, from 7pm to 9pm, at the Manhasset Public Library, 30
Onderdonk Avenue, Manhasset NY 11030.  All are invited, free of charge.

Public transportation users:  This location is a half-mile walk from the
Manhasset LIRR station.

 

David Speiser will present "A Year in the Life of a Bird Photographer".  

 

     Mr. Speiser has been a birder and photographer for over 15 years, and
in that time has traveled all over the world seeing more than 4,000 species.
He is a father to two daughters and has a career as a Management Consultant.
His images have been featured at the Central Park Zoo in NYC, the Royal
Botanical Gardens of Ontario, Audubon Magazine, Birder's World,
BirdWatching, NY Times, Wall Street Journal, many of the USA National Parks,
and on a US Postage Stamp.  He is currently a field co-trip leader for all
NYC Audubon Photography classes as well as a trip leader for many NYCA
birding trips.  He serves on the Board of Directors and as Executive
Vice-President of NYC Audubon and as a Board member of Save the Frogs.
