A pair of Common Ravens have been frequenting the eastern end of Sunken Meadow 
State Park lately. Normally the pair is very vocal making them quite 
conspicuous. Also seen yesterday during my three hours at the park included the 
following. 

White-winged Scoters- 34
Long-tailed Ducks- 25
Buffleheads- 9
Common Goldeneye- male/female pair
Hooded Mergansers- 12
Red-breasted Mergansers- 21
Northern Gannets- 19 birds on the Sound (many further out resting on water)
Bonaparte's Gulls- 2
Common Loon- 3
Red-throated Loon- 1
Horned Grebe- 6
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker- 1
Winter Wren- 1
Eastern Bluebird- 3
Hermit thrush- 2
Gray catbird- 2
American Tree Sparrow- 2
Fox sparrow- 6
Eastern towhee- 1 male
Purple Finch- 12

The Eurasian Wigeon continues at Mill's Pond in Centerport. 6 Northern 
Pintails, 2 Northern Shovelers, and 2 Pied-billed Grebes were viewed on Stump 
Pond/Blydenburgh CP.
