Saturday, August 20th is the date of the Shorebird Festival. Jamaica Bay Wildlfe Refuge is located on Crossbay Blvd. in Queens, NY. We'll have field trips and slideshow presentations. It starts at 7:30AM and goes til 4:30PM. The event is free but we ask for a $20.00 donation to help defray our costs. For more information go the www.nycaudubon.org. Hope to see a lot of you there.
