Central Park, NYC
Sunday, February 13, 2022
OBS: Robert DeCandido, PhD, Deborah Allen, m.ob.

Highlights on a mild, snowy morning: Wood Duck, Green-winged Teal,
Golden-crowned Kinglet, Fox Sparrow, and who-who knows what else. A Snowy Owl
appeared on a rooftop on the Upper West Side yesterday where it was harassed by
Peregrine Falcons. It has not been reported there today. The ice on the
Reservoir has melted, so gull numbers are now quite low, alas.
