After a long search I relocated Shane's Connecticut Warbler at Six Diamonds/Dreier-Offerman Park this afternoon. It was about 200 yards north of where Shane spotted it, and along the same mowed path.

Also of note, 17 days after I first reported them, a pair of Whimbrels continue at Dreier-Offerman. They were foraging in the grass at the western-most field (exactly where I found them on 9/1). Very strange. I wonder which of the numerous pollutants in that environment appeals to their taste buds most ("Mmmm, benzene, we don't get this stuff in the arctic").

Good birding,

Rob
