Hi NY Birders,

I realize this is whacky, but I just received a call about a potential RED-NAPED IBIS in Saratoga Co which was seen this morning by a non- birder. The bird was seen in a pond south of Corinth, NY. Take Main Street in Corinth south 4 miles and look for a pond on the right hand side of the road. Perhaps someone in the area could check this out. Of course the provenance of this bird is uncertain and it is likely an escape, but records of escaped birds are worthy of documentation.
