The Cupsogue Beach, Westhampton Dunes, Hudsonian Godwit was seen
today, 4:00-5:00PM, feeding along the closest sand spit, south and
east of the first island east of Moriches Inlet.
The bird was visible from the sandy road near the campground (west of
the parking lot), and from the shoreline, which is accessible through
the dunes inside the campground. It was there when we left.
