Spectacular day at NYBG!
Male and female HOODED Warblers in the Forest.  Canada, Magnolia and Chestnut 
sided warblers along with Northern Parula, Yellow, Yellow rumped, Black and 
White, Black throated blue, Eastern Kingbird, Northern Orioles, Wood Thrush, 
and two immature Great Horned Owls. 
Scarlet tanagers were everywhere as were male and female American Redstarts. 
At Twin Lakes; Spotted sandpiper, Northern Waterthrush, Wood Ducks, Cormorant, 
Eastern Wood Peewee, Common yellowthroat and a Warbling Vireo.

White throated sparrow 
Cardinal
Blue jay
Cat bird
Mourning doves
Mockingbird
Grackles
Red winged blackbird
American goldfinch
American robin
Flickers
Red bellied woodpecker
Red tailed hawk
Cooper's hawk
