Hello All, Here are a few of the highlights - a House Wren, Virginia Rail, Roughlegged Hawk and Red Necked Grebe seen on Plum Island by Mary Laura And Eric Lamont, four other species of Wren (the Sedge Wren spotted by Steve Biasetti/Aron Virgin at Orient State Park [check LI Birding website for directions]), there were 3 Marsh Wren, a female Harlequin Duck, 21 Purple Sandpiper, 3 Snow Geese, a Turkey Vulture, (new to this count), a Yellow Breasted Chat seen by Rich Kaskan, Snow Buntings, 5 Razorbill, 4 Great Cormorant, 40 Northern Gannet, 5 Cooper's Hawk, 3 White Crowned Sparrow, 9 Fox Sparrow, a Field Sparrow and 8 Swamp Sparrow.
