I spotted a Woodcock and a Wilson's Snipe at Croton Point Park this afternoon! The woodcock was in the wooded marsh at the entrance to the park and the snipe was in a water-logged ditch on the top of the landfill. Also on the landfill were 2 Horned Larks and a Kestrel. Tree Swallow numbers over the Croton Train Station are increasing to ~40. I also heard a Screech Owl in the campground. Another Birder also reported hearing a Pine Warbler in the campground area in the tall pines near the marsh. -Lewis Lolya --
