good afternoon of birding at Croton Point Park. I surveyed the  park for 
about 3 hours and saw 61  species. birds included 25 American Kestrels (pretty 
 much 1 on every post on the landfill, at one point almost all were 
hovering  above the landfill and it was quite a spectacle), 2 Pine  Warblers, a 
Hermit Thrush, a Merlin,  5 Ruby Crowned Kinglets, and 2 Field  Sparrows.
