Thank you for everyone who gave me info about birding in the Cooperstown area. I tried Beaver Pond in Glimmerglass State Park but did not see anything out of the usual.
But while visiting Ommegang Brewery I did see a slate-colored junco - never seen them in CT at this time of year so I was wondering if they are common in that part of NY at this time of year?
