Yeah Peter, I found the bird and did not have any books with us. I see it has a lot of white on the top of the primaries and am now unsure as to it being a Thayers and leaning towards Kumlien's. Checking through Peterson's gulls as we speak. There are photos of the birds eye in that folder.
