Hi Everyone, I successfully searched for a Eurasian Wigeon at the Massapequa Preserve - was at the pond between New Hampshire and Rhode Island Avenues (the pond is frozen but there's a stream around it with flowing water.) Was in the company of American Wigeons and a Northern Shoveler. I believe the Eurasian Wigeon is an annual visitor - there's usually 3 drakes and a hybrid for the last few years. Also saw Carolina Wrens and Flickers off the trails.
