OBS: Robert DeCandido, PhD, Deborah Allen, m.ob. bird walks starting at the 
Boathouse at 7:30 & 9:00am to around noon. 

Fifteen species of warblers during the 7:30-noon time frame. 

Before the Walk: 
Upper Lobe 7:15am Ruby-throated Hummingbird.

At the Reservoir 6:09 to around 8am: Horned Grebe in alternate/breeding plumage 
(continuing from 4/29), Gadwall pair, Bufflehead (3 males & 2 females), Ruddy 
Duck 9, Double-crested Cormorant at least 32, Great Egret, Spotted Sandpiper, 
Great Black-backed, Herring, and Ring-billed Gulls, and 2 Canada Goose nests, 
and Northern Rough-winged and Barn Swallows. 

Great Egret - flyover Boathouse
Red-tailed Hawk - (Will Papp)
Chimney Swift - over Warbler Rock
Belted Kingfisher - female continues at Turtle Pond
Red-bellied Woodpeckers - pair at various locations
Downy Woodpecker - several
Northern Flicker - several
Peregrine Falcon - over the Lake (Matthieu Benoit)
White-eyed Vireo - Maintenance Field
Yellow-throated Vireo - east of Castle
Blue-headed Vireo - 5+
Warbling Vireo - pair Iphigene's Walk
Barn Swallow - over Warbler Rock (Matthieu Benoit)
Black-capped Chickadee - pair & at feeders
Tufted Titmouse - at least one pair in the Ramble
White-breasted Nuthatch - Mugger's Woods
House Wren - 5 total including Upper Lobe (Nancy), Laupot Bridge, etc. 
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher - 5+
Ruby-crowned Kinglet - everywhere
Veery - Gill near Azalea Pond
Hermit Thrush - 4 Summer House, others elsewhere
Wood Thrush - Maintenance Field (Philip and Susan Sugar)
Gray Catbird - 5
Ovenbird - Stone Arch, Summer House (after lunch)
Worm-eating Warbler - Upper Lobe (both walks), Summer House (after lunch)
Louisiana Waterthrush - Oven (Jeffrey Ward)
Northern Waterthrush - Triplet's Bridge, Laupot Bridge, Swampy Pin Oak/Summer 
House Meadow
Blue-winged Warbler - Upper Lobe (Matthieu Benoit)
Black-and-white Warbler - several locations incl. Upper Lobe (Matthieu Benoit), 
the Point, Triplet's Bridge, Bow Bridge
American Redstart - female Upper Lobe (Matthieu Benoit), Humming Tombstone
Northern Parula - Upper Lobe (Matthieu Benoit), Summer House (after lunch)
Cape May Warbler - first spring/first-cycle female (Orig. found by Jeff Ward) 
continuing at the Oven
Chestnut-sided Warbler - Upper Lobe (both walks)
Palm Warbler - Swampy Pin Oak/Summer House Meadow, in willow at the Point
Yellow Warbler - singing male in willow at the Point
Black-throated Blue Warbler  - adult male with large primary patch Humming 
Tombstone (Carine Mitchell) also Weather Station and south end of Tupelo
Yellow-rumped Warbler - fewer than last week, but many locations
Prairie Warbler - male singing relentlessly at Willow Rock
Eastern Towhee - less than 5
Chipping Sparrow - Tupelo Field, etc. 
Field Sparrow - singing between the Boathouse and Maintenance Field
Song Sparrow - the Point
Swamp Sparrow - 2 Triplet's Bridge, 3 along the Gill
Northern Cardinal - re-nesting after a failed attempt
Indigo Bunting - male Swampy Pin Oak (Jeff Ward & Tom Ahlf)
Red-winged Blackbird - 2 males singing feeders
Brown-headed Cowbird - male
Orchard Oriole - male at the Oven (Emily Peyton & Tom Ahlf)
Baltimore Oriole - female getting nesting material Tupelo Field
House Finch - male singing Triplet's Bridge
Pine Siskin - possible (Matthieu Benoit)
American Goldfinch - several locations males & females

Doug Kurz reported a Yellow-throated Warbler at the Source of the Gill.
