A 'brief' addendum, as of full dusk and even dark in Central Park (Manhattan, NYC) and with 4 of us eventually looking - and two of us covering all of the Great Lawn of CentraI Park & not finding any such bird (bright yellow on belly, grayish breast, upright flycatcher pose in the -one- poor photo - it will be seen if any such bird is noted next day - on Tuesday 11/1. Those interested in seeing the single, poor photo may write me, and I will send it. It is not color-enhanced & just the upper & lower portions were cropped out as they show just some foliage or lawn in background. I'm prepared to eat crow-pie (vegan variety) if the bird is not understood to be a Tyrannus [genus] and wished to get word out, on the possibility. (Any Tyrannus is rare for this park, other than Eastern Kingbird, and this is not a photo of that species - which also would be an exceedingly late date, for an Eastern.)

Other reports at a later time; a Yellow-breasted Chat (not far to the west of the above-referenced) was still being viewed (by others) to at least 5:30 pm in it's same area, now 8 days in a row in the park and in that general vicinity.

good birding,
Tom Fiore
Manhattan
