Late this afternoon, Fedjy Charles found and photographed a LeConte’s Sparrow
near bench 10 at Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge Queens Co. For those who are not
sure about the location. Bench 10 is on the West Pond loop trail at the Refuge.
Once the photo got out and confirmed some went to search but was unsuccessful
in their endeavors.
I thought this was already shared to the list serves but upon searching my
inbox, I did not see anyone sharing the news so this is my mizvah. If the bird
is refound, please share across all communication mediums.
Remember, mask up and observe good social distancing.
Cheers,
--------
