Hi all, My laptop has just died (3.5 yr old low end Compaq - compulsive blue screening, funny noises and self-rebooting). I was happy with how it performed considering what I paid for it (under a grand) and how it got (ab)used.
Anyhows, I'm looking for a new one and am tossing up between a netbook and traditional laptop. I do a reasonable amount of freelance work while commuting and at home, so am looking for a balance between couch comfort and portability.
