I find that my 13" screen laptop (which is a Mac btw... but never
mind) has the perfect size, weight and features for all my freelance
work. I actually don't own any other desktop or use external keyboards/
mouse/screen.
I bought a 10" screen eee pc over xmass as an impulse buy and found
the screen and keyboard too small for any serious work. The atom
processor wasn't that speedy also. On the other hand, the weight was
about half of my macbook's! So if you're planning to carry it around
a lot, that's a benefit. But if you're gonna end up pluging external
keyboards/mouse and screens then what's the point?
My eee ended up on TradeMe 10 days after I bought it...

Thanks Chris - I'll check that out.

Not as much fun as a new toy though...
