It's actually not quite clear if that's a bug on the server side. I think it is, but as you can see in the comments, Julian seems to think that rewriting lock tokens is not allowed for clients. I do not see that from looking into the spec, but since Julian is the definite expert on WebDAV, I'd suggest to create a PR request a review from him. He will be back from vacation next week.
