The actions in this group remind me of something. When I was a teacher, I noted a certain category of students who lived always in crisis. If there was not a crisis in their life, they went out of their way to create one. It could be with a teacher, their parents, their girlfriends or their boyfriends. They lived their lives as if in a soap opera. They seemed always to be in argument and dispute.
I am not a member of the OBC but was one when the club started again early in the 1970's. Politics, petty argument, and disputes got in the way of the joy of cycling. Seems not much has changed in 30+ years.
